On June 2nd, IWIN-FINS Group had the honor of hosting Professor Daniel Quevedo from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) for a lecture titled “Bandit Algorithms for Channel Selection in Remote State Estimation.” The event attracted a diverse audience of professors, researchers, and students.
During the lecture, Professor Quevedo provided a thorough introduction to the remote state estimation problem, discussed the algorithms applied to address the problem, and presented the performance analyses. With his expertise in the field, he engaged in friendly discussions with the faculty members and students in attendance. Afterward, he engaged in in-depth academic discussions with our doctoral students and visited our robotics laboratory.
His visit enhanced academic collaboration and knowledge exchange between QUT and SJTU. We express our gratitude to Professor Quevedo for sharing his expertise and insights with us, and we look forward to more fruitful collaborations in the future.
